Petra, who has made a life for herself in the big city, has a crush on her office co-worker and is trying hard to start a meaningful relationship with him. Her mother’s visit from a provincial town in the south not only jeopardizes her efforts, but adds to the already palpable disconnect between mother and daughter. But, soon it will be New Year’s Eve, and everybody is hoping for the best.
